Currently restoring the website after dealing with a bug in an older version of the software and an upgrade to a newer version that was unsuccessful. The wiki pages have been copied over, and now I am in the process of restoring navigation so that you can find them again.
Not endorsing that horrible credit-socialism movie. Loose credit policies are part of what created this mess. But the idea of moving money from large banks that have benefited from the bailouts, to the small ones, is a good idea.
Your money is "insured" (not really; bank failures are not an "insurable event) by the FDIC regardless of the size of the bank.
However, to save headaches and reduce the risk of your bank failing when you REALLY need access to the money, you might want to look at prospects in this list, and see how they rank for "Texas Ratio". Smaller, and below 100, is better.
