Very illuminating.

That pretty much sums it up.   The politicians take your money and give it to their friends.  They've got to the stage where they don't even see how that is dubious.

I thought this knucklehead looked familiar. So I checked out his district. http://www.knollenberg.house.gov/District/ He has a huge amount of business in his district. Lots of money people too. If you look at the Bloomfield Hills sign this city has the 26th highest income in the U.S. 7th in cities larger than 1000 or 4th if you count over 1000 households. Franklin is 69th. Bingham Farms is 78th in cities larger than 1000. In cites with more than 50,000 West Bloomfield #9, Farmington Hills #33, Troy #35, Rochester Hills #40 Royal Oak #72.

Shelby Township #85 and Southfield #100 aren't in his district, but touch it. So you know these business people want their handout.
