Excellent example of political conditioning
« on: August 13, 2008, 10:55:49 PM »
I'm not interested in linking to any of several editorials basically claiming that the "Georgia Crisis" is boosting McCain or hurting Obama, because they're not worthy.

However, this makes for a good example of political "conditioning".

My guess is that voters are supposed to automatically vote Republican whenever there is a war or international crisis brewing?!

Granted Obama does not seem to have foreign policy credentials, but McCain's are not credible at all either. The man had to be repeatedly prompted, and corrected, when he kept mixing up Shi'ites in Sunnis, in what was obviously a poorly rehearsed recitation of someone else's "talking points".

That's how I saw it too.

It never crossed my mind; but I think you're right.  Where can I go for proper conditioning?
