It really does take a good 2-3 days for an antibiotic to really start to do the job. This is why some people stop taking the antibiotic after a few day, they figure the infection is gone. But the antibiotic is just starting it work. Stopping the antibiotic that soon will cause the infection to come back because it has not killed it off. Your Penncillian and Amoxcillin are 7-10 days does depending if your taking 250mg or 500mg tabs. They do have Azithromycin which is a 5 day antibiotic. Not sure how well it works on teeth though.

Thanks hancocks for the info. Around here we call the 5 day azithromycin the "Z pack". I guess this is my lesson on taking enough of the wonder drug long enough to get rid of the bad stuff.

Searched the site and wondered how mid-continental Amerinds managed to maintain carries free teeth  prior to contact with Whites.  Bison, and berries were the dietary staples.

Dame, supposedly lack of grains.

But I know nothing about this site that I linked to.  It was just something I stumbled across.  I do know that a lot of my friends who I believe have managed to heal cavities.  Not as quickly and easily as in this story, but they are also not the average population.  They are people with serious health issues to begin with, that led them to seek info about alternative health care.  So it wouldn't seem illogical that they have to work harder to get into balance and heal.

I myself healed a cavity.  I wasn't trying to.  I wasn't watching it.  I have no idea how long it took.  All I know is that I had the cavity filled when I was 13.  The cavity was present at dental visits at least until I was 21.  Then I didn't go to the dentist for 5 years.  During that time, the filling must have fallen out, and the cavity is now healed.  There is no sign that it was ever there.  There is nothing there but tooth.

Ever heard of a probiotic called L. Salivarius?  One of my friends believes that supplementing with that has caused her family to stop producing tartar, and has caused a reduction in the tartar that was already present before she started supplementing.

Pricey!

I'm currently participating in a cooperative purchase of products from this site.  We are getting 40% off if we can make it up to 12 bottles.  I believe we are one or 2 short.  (I'm getting the Adult Formula CP-1.)
