she will be at her closest point within the hour.  it is a bit breezy outside to say the least but nothing overly dramatic. she should move away quickly and calm weather returns tommorow.

At it's closest point now but if the media didn't say so, you wouldn't know it.  Calm as anything.  It is east of us so apparently most of the winds are on the east side of the storm.

A late season storm started outside the tropics (subtropical storm).  Headed this way.

Not a powerful storm but predicted to be close, 119 miles.  Annuals could be beat up especially given we have already had windy weather for 5 days in a row now.

Batten down the hatches, then stay cozy inside. Another big storm is hitting Alaska. Unusually strong for that far north.

Latest update sees it upgrading to hurricane.  130 miles off.  4am tommorow.  Loose items to be put away but not much else to prep far.

minimal hurricanes that don't come closer than 75 miles will barely getcha 50-60 mph winds sustained if you are lucky.

these things are fun up to this level, any closer or stronger intensity , NOT!!!!   but at least you have time to prepare..................

Passed without incident.  Minimal damage to crops.  Thank God.  Did lose many potatoes but hopefully they have small tubers or else come back.
