If anyone is ever in the market for "junk silver" (90% silver coins) or the type of gold I listed above at or just above spot, send me a pm, I may or may not have it or be able to get it at slightly below market prices at any given time... that or direct you to a forum Im also on where similar trades happen most days, and full of good trust worthy folks.

  It would be most unfortunate if Barter Town exposed the forum to risk. Hopefully a disclaimer would be sufficient to protect you Atash. If the barter is between individuals and doesn't involve this forum except to exchange info hopefully there is a way to protect you. Dang it stinks to have to think about this but no doubt is very appropriate.

Assuming you decide it there is a way for you to manage the risk, what about things like sealed #10 cans of storage foods with wheat content offered in trade for ??, from those of us finding that wheat is no longer tolerated. Not that i have much of this stuff but, its not something you give to the food bank.

I have both witnessed and been party to small trades involving junk silver for other goods or services. Lots of folks looking for an alternate to the U$.

Sorry, for some reason I did not see the tail end of this discussion. Someone please tug on my shirtsleeve to take some sort of action by-and-by. I'm swamped at the moment but I'll investigate the feasibility when I have some time.
