i remember about 3 or 4 years ago, i had to take hubby to the airport in Spokane. on the way home i wanted to fill the van up. i stopped at three different stations and not one of them would accept my check. finaally when i got to Davenport they did, but begrudgingly. now i always have a card with me, just in case. i don't go to town but once every month or two or more, so i was so surprized, even tho i had read about the pushing of plastic.
