Hello all...
« on: October 21, 2008, 03:00:28 PM »
Hi,

I am new to the forum.  I am Christian,43, married to a beautiful woman and we have three girls, 10,6,5.  I am seeing things I don't like and want to get prepared as soon as able and on a budget.  The wife is sorta on board, at least as far as storing some food for the coming inflationary period.  We live about 40 miles outside of Denver in a small mountain town.  Anyway thats me.  I will be scouring the forums for any and all info to become prepared in all ways.  So any and all information and help will be greatly appreciated.
See ya around..

Close in age and situation to me--except mine are two boys and a girl--and one on the way of unknown sex.

Pleased to meet you! :greet009:

You are wise to store food. Some people don't realize that it's hard to grow it fast enough to deal with  sudden crisis.

Yes, we have lots of information about inflation (and debt-repudiation--that's when someone owes YOU and doesn't pay...which we will be seeing more and more of). We have quite a few economic whizzes here. Be aware that investment advice is regulated in the USA but we can provide informational answers to a lot of questions, and hopefully brainstorm some good ideas for all of us.

It gets hard when the remittance system itself (that is, the banks) is failing, and the currency is "vulnerable", and precious metals are not "fungible" (you can't pay bills with them, except by selling and using the currency--legal tender laws and all that...).
We're running out of petroleum. Are you ready?

Denver...my old stompin' grounds. Are you possibly up there in Idaho Springs?
