This is what happens because of corrupt criminal justice

Van der Sloot suspected of killing ANOTHER woman, FOUND DEAD IN HIS HOTEL ROOM:

Quote
Stephany Flores Ramirez, 21, was found beaten and stabbed to death in a Peruvian hotel room booked in Joran van der Sloot's name. A hotel guest and an employee have come forward to claim they saw van der Sloot and the victim entering his hotel room together[2] and the police have video of the two together at a casino in Lima the night before.[3] Police have stated Joran van der Sloot is the prime suspect in the murder investigation. Interpol has issued an international arrest warrant for van der Sloot and believe that he has fled the country into Chile and may be traveling to Argentina.

THIS ONE WAS BEATEN AND STABBED TO DEATH. No accident! I wonder if getting away with one crime (and treated like royalty) emboldened him to commit a worse one.

God help us: it's even worse than that! According to the same private investigator who got him to confess on camera (which confession was subsequently ignored by Dutch and Aruban prosecutors), he's got MORE video of him discussing his trafficking in women for prostitution!!

Every time I see that sneer on his face I want to spit blood. He just looks evil.

I have always suspected foul play and a cover-up. I have confidence that the Chileans will catch him and the Peruvians will charge and convict him. Interpol is involved and they will help find him. Too bad another woman had to die.  sad23

Now maybe everyone will realize what really happened, all the no-good media personalities who smeared Holloway as a wanton harlot and a junkie will be exposed as the liars they are, and her good name will be restored.

Just saw it on the news this morning: the Chilean police were leading him away in handcuffs.

From the report:

Quote
An uncle of Natalee Holloway said he was saddened by the Flores family's loss.

"We are disappointed that Joran has been able to do this to another young girl," Paul Reynolds told CNN. "He was not held accountable for what happened to Natalee and as a result has been able to repeat his actions. Sorry this other family has to go through the same thing we have.

Exactly what I was thinking. And not only does van der Sloot need to be held accountable, but so do all the people who helped him get away. I hope that people are angry, and that they remember who helped him.

Quote
The woman's bludgeoned body was found in Room 309 of the Hotel Tac in the Miraflores section of Lima, police said. She suffered blunt trauma to the head, breaking her neck, and to her torso and back, Peruvian police said Thursday.

sad23 He really let her have it. Her poor heartbroken parents.

Just look at all the evidence the Peruvians have already gathered against him!:

Quote
A hotel guest and an employee witnessed the pair entering the hotel room together at 5 a.m. Sunday, Guardia said. Police have video of van der Sloot and Flores together the previous night at the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, he said.

Two Peruvian cab drivers said in an interview on CNN affiliate America TV that they drove a man matching van der Sloot's description to a city on the other side of the Chilean border.

"He paid me and I took him to Arica, to the border," cab driver Oswaldo Aparcana said.

The man sat in the front seat and smoked many cigarettes, Aparcana said. The passenger told the cabbies he used to live in Aruba, said the other driver, Carlos Alberto Uribe.

Quote
Inside the car, he said, authorities found pills like those used in date rapes.

SEE?! He DID drug Holloway. People who asked around the bar heard rumors that girls were getting date-rape drug slipped into their drinks.

I bet he tried that with Flores, she woke up, and he killed her. He thought he could get away, but the Peruvians are not the Arubans.

Im glad they caught the punk but the worst story of the year so far is the mother who kidnapped her little daughters friend and killed her then wrapped her up and tossed her into a pond. I think somewhere in the Bay area.

That one's really warped.

This gets worse. It turns out the FBI had a case against Van der Sloot back on May 10th, but they decided not to act on it. If they had arrested him then, he would not have been able to commit his latest murder. Your tax dollars at work. Hooray for the Federal Bureau of Incineration. :angry020:

Yeah, Eddie, I know which case you're talking about, and that one really disturbed me as well.  sad23

Unfortunately there is no setting things right but at least in that case the police put a stop to the killing by promptly zeroeing in on the right suspect and collecting damning evidence.

In the Aruban case, I suspect the perpetrators were protected because one of them is the son of a now-deceased but at the time well-connected judge. Probably did the right people favors, and this was time for collecting on favors.

There are still two loose ends: the Kalpoe Brothers. They helped kidnap and rape her. I dunno who spiked her drink, but they were all accomplices and culpable.

Girls (and occasionally gentlemen also)
Never drink from a glass that you did not see the bartender fill with our own eyes and that has not been in your control at all times.  If you go out on the dance floor and come back to your table and there is something left in your glass, feed it to the flowerpot.

It doesn't require a murderer, rapist, or B movie heavy.  Years ago a co-worker thought it would be funny to see me drunk at a Christmas party.  He offered me a taste of a strongly cherry flavored after dinner liquor to cloy my sense of taste, then topped off my glass of pepsi with scotch when I wasn't looking.  I got drunk and it was amusing.  Fortunately I didn't hit anything driving home.  I had no idea how intoxicated I was.

Good advice. Yow!

I've heard other cases where pregnant women have been slipped abortifacents, by either a man unwilling to take responsibility, or a jealous hateful rival.

And you're right that gentlemen should be wary as well; for one thing, they are statistically more likely to be victims of violent crime! Less likely rape, but that happens too, plus robbery (including organ theft!), revenge or purely malicious attacks, etc.

Lima, Peru -- A superior court judge in Lima, Peru, upheld the confession and incarceration of Joran van der Sloot in connection with the killing of Stefany Flores, officials said.

On Friday, Judge Wilder Casique Alvizuri declared as "unfounded" van der Sloot's habeas corpus claim that his constitutional rights were violated at the time of the confession because he was represented by a state-appointed attorney.

Van der Sloot also claimed that his laptop had been improperly searched.

In an official press release, the judge said that the suspect had a translator made available to him during the three depositions he gave the police and that his laptop was sealed once delivered to the court.

I just happen to see a documentary on a couple of prisons. One was in Mexico city and the other Peru. I don't know if it was coincidental or not because of the high profile case, but I can tell you one thing, I wouldn't want to be in this guys shoes. Both prisons are notorious for gang rapings, stabbings you name it. Very high rate of HIV too. To top it off, it said at that the Peru prison, you actually need connections on the outside for food or your basically screwed. The prison food isn't just awful but it will make you sicker than a dog if your digestive system isn't up to par with that kind of crap. Not only that, but their on always short supply in ratio to inmates. Short on water too. Total hell hole, I would probably opt for suicide if I were him.

Wow. It wasn't "just" rape and murder. It was extortion too.

http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/06/30/peru.murder.case/index.html?hpt=Sbin

No shame. No sense of guilt or responsibility.

Quote
A U.S. federal grand jury on Wednesday indicted Joran van der Sloot on charges of wire fraud and extortion in connection with a plot to sell information about the whereabouts of Natalee Holloway's remains in exchange for $250,000, officials said.

An arrest warrant on these same charges had been issued for van der Sloot earlier this month. The charges are unrelated to the killing of a student in Peru in which van der Sloot is the suspect. He is in Peruvian jail.

Wednesday's indictment alleges that van der Sloot exploited "Beth Holloway's fear that she would never find her daughter's body or know what happened to her unless she paid him $250,000," the Alabama U.S. Attorney's office said.

The Dutchman is accused of making false promises that he would reveal the location of Natalee Holloway's body if the money was transferred to him.

According to the indictment, Beth Holloway wired $15,000 to a bank account van der Sloot held in the Netherlands, and through an attorney gave him an additional $10,000 in person.

Once he had the initial $25,000, van der Sloot showed the attorney, John Kelly, where Natalee Holloway's remains allegedly were hidden. It turned out to be false information, the indictment states.
