See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Increasingly the criminal "justice" system is unwilling to aggressively pursue criminals when there is no angle to exploit. They'd rather just bury the dead and move on.

Uncharacteristically, I have difficulty expressing what I am thinking. There are certain crimes that are socially acceptable (even encouraged) to expose, publicize, go after, and punish the perpetrator, and others that there is a massive taboo about disclosing much less doing something about...something that a quorum of the population quietly consents to covering up because they dare not face the truth.
I thought about posting this under my "Blessed with Asperger's forum", because thanks to that condition I was exposed to the dark side of the human psyche at an early age, however, that really was supposed to be a "positive" forum, not negative. I was a magnet for every type of pervert and child abuser (to this day I have feelings of rage I have difficulty dealing with--like getting blamed for being the victim...). However, I lived (there were times I thought I would die, like getting my head bashed against the urinal over and over again).
Survivors guilt? It is hard for me to deal with this kind of news.
