Sig Sauer 250 in 9mm

and an M1A

should cure most problems if it ever got that bad, which I hope it never does

Sportsmans guide seems to have some.  But not in the quantities you are asking about.  You could call them and see about buying it in bulk though. I see both +P and +P+ by the box.

+p Does seem to be drying up though. I found lots of places with bulk regular 9mm  Including both Sportsman's Guide and Cablea's.

Have you thought about loading your own.  The bullets and brass seem to be available.

Best round for 9mm (IMHO) is the Speer 124 gr. Gold Dot.

To answer your original question though, here's this: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AMM406-1.html

Nothing against Offdalip, but there's a major boycott against Cheaper Than Dirt going on.  Right after the election they tried doubling and tripling their prices.  Don't know where they stand now.

Asking what the best self defense round is like asking which kind of shoes are best.  It depends.  You can search around a bit and probably find some ballistics test on YouTube.  A buddy of mine periodically makes his own ballistics gel and tests rounds.  What we've found is that it varies by gun - one cartridge that works well in an XD will jam a Sig, so whatever you decide on, run a box through your pistol before stocking up.

Not my original post , but U R right, seems CTD are higher priced in the cal I would look for and get from somewhere else and sold out anyways...
