Welcome to Mutually Assured Survival.
Apologies for downtime on my website. My webhost, Hostgator, disabled access to my main webpage this morning for “exceeding system resources”, which is being caused by a lot of hits to my webpage due to recent publicity. Thank you for visiting!
Update: the staff of Hostgator have refused to restore my website. I will have to look for another host to move to.
Until then, contact me at ATASH AT MUTUALLYASSUREDSURVIVAL DOT COM, or try stopping by my forums at

The bailout programs you have been hearing about are not going to help matters. The reason is that the money is NOT going into new or more efficient production and distribution of goods and services that people actually need, and is not going to create new opportunities for worthwhile employment, but instead is just bailing out a relatively few well-connected banks. You probably already guessed as much yourself.
So, the rest of us are on our own. I suggest trying to stay employed as long as possible and cutting un-necessary expenses to a minimum. I realize that cutting down on consumer spending will cost some people their jobs, but what will happen if and when enough people do this, is that some money will be reallocated from less important purposes to more important purposes. In a recession, the economy would actually heal itself as people reprioritize.
Small businesses will be particularly hard-hit, because they have lost their lines of credit with the banks.
Retirement funds re being hard-hit as well. We will have some suggestions here about what to do about it. Be ready with your questions, and the site administrator will work on getting them answered. Specific questions might be hard to answer (and financial advice is regulated in my home country), so please be patient and we'll do the best we can.
One of our upcoming projects is to help support some soldiers and their families, especially over upcoming holidays. Details SOON.
Please bookmark this site and try back later. Apologies for the inconvenience!
Kind regards,
The website owner
